Hey everyone! It’s a slow day at work and I just thought of a crazy idea. Some of you on here might know this but for the ones who don’t, I got engaged this past November.

The wedding isn’t for about another year. I was thinking of making the lower half of my dress out of some of my windpants. My idea so far would be to take my tearaway ones, undo all of the buttons except for the waste, put one pair over another and then another over that, so on and so forth before finally rotating each pair until it looks as close to a flowy wedding dress as possible.

Like I said, I know it sounds crazy. But what do all of you think?

If you don't want to cut up your windpants, you might consider buying some nylon taffeta fabric and using that instead to get the same effect

Oh I dont intend on cutting anything. What I want to try and do is layer the pairs of tearaways that I have starting with the smallest and going up to the largest and unbuttoning all of the buttons except for the ones on the waist and rearranging each pair until it resembles something like a bride’s dress. I might also use my Nike pants that have zippers going up all the way
