Nike Windrunners

I bought another pair of black Nike Windrunners and went to town and cut the lining out. Currently wearing them with a nylon thong my gosh do they feel so good.

I like it when I stand up and they get sucked into my butt because they are cuffed and create that natural vacuum.

They are so much better and lighter without the mesh liner.

Are they the new ones that you can currently buy from Nike? What material? Thought the new version was polyester.

Anyhow, I have a few pairs of the current Jordan sport classic pants. Nylon outside, mesh inside. They aren't super loud because it's crinkly nylon but they still swish and feel pretty good.

It's funny you mention that. The new ones say they are polyester, but they are extremely swishy. I don't think they are polyester. They are shiny and have the taffeta finish.

However, I just noticed the other day when hunting for another pair, I noticed they changed the design of the Windrunners for 2026 on Nike's website, and they are dramatically different. I don't know if they changed the fabric, but the design of them is different, and I don't like them. Glad I got a few pairs of the 2025 version.

IDK what it is with Nike and why they would go backwards on an already good pair of windpants.
