Where does anyone recommend to order a pair of unlined nylon windpants? Are there any brands. I know the 100% nylon are the go to ones but I have never really seen any at stores. The best I have seen were the columbia cypress brook II youth pants, but they are too small for me.

Your best bet is online. Stores like depop, poshmark, mercari, ebay, etc…. will have what you’re looking for. I’ve gotten many good pairs online

I've been noticing that a lot of them are getting bought up over the years or people are asking insane prices for them.
You have to be careful, some of them out there have been worn/washed so many times they aren't crisp and swishy no more.
Been looking at Alibaba to do a bulk purchase and selling new unbranded ones on eBay and the like for a reasonable price to people. Seems like even in the textile industry, it is hard to find any for some strange reason. I tracked down potentially three or four sellers, but haven't reached out to them yet.
Unlined windpants are wearable like all year around versus the lined ones. I wear mine all year around because they are comfortable and light. But I'm careful how I wash them and what I do in them, especially my Nike and Adidas pairs knowing they are pretty much irreplaceable at this point.
During my hunt on Alibaba, I found the textile manufacturers that make the Nike Windrunner lined pants without the Nike logo. Got a good laugh out of that.
I prefer the crispy/swishy somewhat shiny unlined nylon taffeta windpants with the cuffed ankles, but wow, are they hard to find. Just basic black unlined swishy cuffed windpants that go with pretty much any attire.
Got a friend who hikes that has been looking for these pants new too. So I see a market for them outside of us swishy folks.
I know how to sew, but that would be a full time job making windpants to sell.
LA Apparel makes unlined ones, but they are open hem ankles. VOS Sports makes the cuffed ones, but they are lined. Both are swishy and noisy.

Check out Columbia rebel roamer pants. They are lined, but the lining is nylon. Highly recommend. Only downside is they don't have pockets.
I just looked them up. I think they might be what I am looking for. They seem very similar to the Columbia Cypress Brook II/III pants. Have you ever felt those before? Thanks.

Thrift stores like savers and Salvation Army are good if you’re looking for cheap prices. eBay is also good too. All my wind pants are from eBay or savers.

Damn I want to go to whatever Savers you go to. I never have any luck in Savers. Goodwill, however, I’ve gotten a few pairs
Find smooth nylon athletic clothes mostly on-line at sites that sell used clothing. They do ware out with a lot of use, especially with the elastic waste bands becoming stretched, the nylon becoming fatigued and thin, and seams eventually giving out. Very comfortable to wear all day and even to sleep in with the nylon material being really soft.

I like the Nike Windrunners, but they are lined. I got a pair, but I'm thinking of getting a second just to cut the lining out.

Yeah it's completely right, our beloved clothes are sometimes spacy pricey but there are still some companies doing wind pants with good pricing...
Maybe @Alina you can be more clearly what you're exactly searching for. I think in this case everyone will bring it's own fav's but they don't must match yours...

The availability of shops naturally depends somewhat on the country; not every secondhand portal ships worldwide, and the same applies to other retailers...

You can try decathlon store, wind and rain pants but only black and sometimes navy blue but unlined

That's right, Decathlon/Quetchua MH500, just 2 colors but unlined, cuffed but no pockets and a nice smooth feeling... I got 2 of them, Black/Navy...

So I've done a little research.... The mentioned Columbia Cypress Brook 2 are described as skipants. So they're over pants without insulation and made from a thicker fabric. Couldn't find out if they're coated from the inside but the seems are taped so I would guess they are coated. Found them from 15,99€ to 81€ (Amazon)
I would say if it should be this style pants your best bet is to look for the Northface 2,5L pants (got them 2x, one is named "Dryvent" and the other one "Hyvent 2,5L" but I think they're basically the same), Kway and Rains also got similar ones to name the probably most pricey that I know. Adidas, Jako and Erima are doing also similar ones (sporty, joggers type) but it's a much thinner fabric .... I think you'll find something if you look for "Rain overpants", "Rain pants", "Ski overpants" just add your favorite brand and maybe size, color etc. 😉

Why I said it's depending on your country? Because there are different 2nd hand portals out there.... I'm in Europe, Germany for example and we got eBay, Etsy, Vinted, Mädchenflohmarkt, Kleinanzeigen, Sellpy, Depop and also a 2nd hand section of H&M and Asos.... So I would say Germany have plenty of choices..... And I would say I've not listed every little shop which is selling wind pants.
I've seen Etsy and Depop got a good amount of nylon stuff and is mostly sending worldwide, or even more us and uk.
Vinted got more vintage wind/rain pants at goood prices... Sellpy too but both aren't shipping worldwide but across Europe.
There is also Mercari and buyee out there (to buy from Japan) but it's a remote buying system, nothing I want to deal with...
I've seen Etsy and Depop got a good amount of nylon stuff and is mostly sending worldwide, or even more us and uk.
