AI Images

The most recent AI dump is pretty out of hand. It's all boring and repetitive and is just spamming the site at this point. Some people have absolutely no concept of curation, or of what others might want to see. It's like the shinysports era where that dude kept endlessly uploading photos of people wearing bibs in slightly different poses, which I'm sure we all remember.

I've had AI eliminate the joy from so many facets of my job and make so many day-to-day tasks frustrating, it's grim to see the slop infiltrate this safe space too.

I had an interesting last week. Saw 4 more people wearing swishy windpants. Two were wearing a pair of Adidas, and the other two were off brand, but I didn't care. 3 of them were guys and 1 was a girl. The girl was wearing an Adidas pair. They looked real good wearing windpants. So, so, much better than ugly sweatpants.

I'm hoping that nylon windpants are coming back.

But yep, I prefer in real life or real pictures of swishy nylon goodness.
I've actually seen a huge increase in the amount of men and women wearing windpants as the weather starts cooling down here (southern hemisphere). I've seen several women in passing wearing Adidas OG windbreaker pants recently, which is giving me hope for things to come.

Couldnt agree more! I hope people read these comments and think before they actually post. Also, people wearing bibs? I dont remember that at all, haha. Maybe that was before I joined.

And before things getting out of hands...... Actually we have no "hide Ai images" button in the preferences. Yes I agree, also for me there are too much Ai images with the same or similar scene....

......BUT......

No! We won't punish users just for uploading (too much Ai) images, if they're legal and in the right category!

If someone absolutely not want to see Ai images, try to select a section f.e. "Member+ NSFW" (in gallery)

Sure it's not the solution, but I think Ai isn't going away anymore and we have to deal with it.
I personally act like this: scroll down, mark viewed, done.

AI is absolutely horrible. Anybody can put a lot of terrible images together. It's commodity junk and it's watering out the actual content. It's creating a haystack and the real content is the needle. It's making these sites useless. Add to that - it's creepy, lifeless, poor lighting, and just dead.

some engines are pretty bad. I tried SexyAi for a few weeks and the images were not at all life like. The site was expensive for paid up plans so I stuck to the free one. Maybe it was the free one that sucked, and if so that is not the way to encourage subscribers. Ai engines need accurate descriptions for image creation, and some of us probably don't realise the level of detail some generators require. I don't mind the use of Ai if it is for scenes we would never be able to re-create in real life, the content is legal, and does not depict harm to others. What I don't like is when Ai images are not marked as such or if they don't have their own category.

I think the payment or abo option is quite usual these days... Mostly same system, show what you could get, but if you want all you have to buy premium... I've tried some ai too, not only image creation but also chat. Or rather chats with image creation implemented.... In my case I can say it's not worth, simply just not worth the money....

And yes I totally agree that it's not cool to don't Tag such images or videos as what they are. An even bigger no go for me is if people using ai images as profile pic but don't mention or even depend on "that's me" .....

And I am slowly overwhelmed and annoyed by all this "fake" stuff....... But hey, welcome to the future 🤣🙄

Image AI is a form of fine art. It doesn't matter whether the image is drawn by hand, in a graphics editor, or with the help of AI. In all cases, it is fine art. AI is simply a tool, just like a pencil, brush, stylus, and computer mouse.

I put AI-generated drawings in the Nylon Art folder. But there's no way to create albums there. All users post images in one big pile. Could you please create albums there?

Thnx!

No way! You’re not an artist if you let someone or something else create the “art” for you, even if you specify how that “art” should look. In that case, you’re merely the client who commissioned the art, and “the artist” in the true sense of the word would be the AI.
But this is a very simple misunderstanding between the user and the creator. You don’t become a car mechanic just because you tell the garage how to tune the car, do you?!

What ever.....just live your dream, it's yours....

But I agree to the folders...

This is the same as reproaching an accountant working in an accounting program that he is not an accountant, but a client. And apparently, to be an accountant, you need to do all your accounting on an abacus and write down accounting entries in a book... Well, I hope, at least with a ballpoint pen and not a quill pen?

I know that you are left-wing. I hope that you at least continue to consider a worker working on a machine with numerical software as a worker, or is he also a client?

But thanks for agreeing about the folders. This will make it more convenient for everyone.

Dear users. Please ignore this. We are having a small philosophical discussion with the admin, which is not entirely on topic. The admin and I have different political and philosophical views. And that's the problem.

Posts and pictures are at the discretion of the admin. The admin can delete everything. It's his right. He is the admin here.
Ku twice.

Upd. If you like the pictures I posted. I took many of them
here. The visualizer, which is involved in creating pictures, is not against it, as is comrade AI.
